Always we face a question ask by friends during chitchatting, clients during wedding photography assignment and even participants during workshop, “why do you choice Canon over other brands?”
Well, I can’t tell you about other DSLR brand and make any comparison over it since I never really try on other brand so far. However, one thing for sure, I have been using Canon DSLR since May 2007 from model 400D— 30D–5D till 5D mark II and for lenses, I have been using Sigma, Tamron and Canon. Over the past 4 years, in my experience, I never have any major issues on the gears itself. Beside the poisonous f1.2 L lenses that we all love, most important to us , is the after sales service and technical support. Over the years, whenever we have any repair or technical problem, the marketing, technician and customer service teams from Canon Malaysia are always very helpful to us and solving our issue without any delay. Just an example which I drop my 50mm f1.2 during my wedding assignment on last Monday, they manage to repair it within 3 working days which save my problem on this coming weekend shooting. Beside, Canon Marketing Malaysia is also very supportive when we ask for sponsorship on our recent charity program under A.L.I.V.E . I am really impress on their friendly attitude and willing to take it personally. Yes! Canon has been delighting me always!
