This Journey was my long awaited trip. Total 9 days travels with 4 flights from KL-Kunming- Lijiang – Shangrila – Lijiang – Kunming – KL. Foong said , it is like Journey to the West… hahah, no, we not heading to west, we are heading to Yunnan, one of the most beautiful places in China. It was a tough journey but I believe all of us do enjoy the trip beside the highland sickness issue that bugging Agnes and Foong for couple of days.
So, lets begin our day one in Lijiang. After travel for almost 24 hours including 12 hours waiting time at Kunming, we finally head out for our first day shooting !

Our first location. One of the old town. Well, except all the shop lots are selling gifts or turn into cafe. One thing I really like is their drainage system . Look at that ! it is green with plants !!! Agnes posing for me for some test shoots while Foong shooting his video with couple.

dogs here are super extreme. Either they are so cute like this dog or the next one
a giant size doggie. I wonder if the dog is thinking of snow mountain freedom while it chained at the shop
after old town, we proceed to highland. It took us 45 mins drive from the town area and we need to walk with all our heavy gears at 3,600 feet. Trust me, it is not easy to walk at all with lack of oxygen ! Foong with his gears!

the lunch is good except for this sausage.. i think everyone only took one piece except me who ate 5-6 pieces which later on we came to know that it was made of Pig BLOOD !!!!

before we call it a day.. we went to this huge lake which they call it “sea” .. no joke hahah, there are more than 5 couples with other photographers as well. Luckily the place is big enough for us to find a sweet spot. It was freezing cold !

when i show this photos to others, they thought we are having dog meat.. no no no.. it is pork.. but …. lol.. the meat doesn’t really taste good..I was just too hungry and try to ignore the smell

we had our dinner at this restaurant and became background for portrait shoots. I counted with more than 5 photographers brought their models here for shooting as background while we having dinner.
